The residential high-rise, The Lyte, by DC Developments in Hamburg’s Überseequartier is set to be completed in 2024.

Rising above the Westfield shopping center in Hamburg’s Überseequartier, a 60-meter-tall residential tower will soon stand. Named The Lyte, it is being constructed by DC Developments. With a total of 86 condominium units across approximately 7,800 square meters of living space, The Lyte is the smallest development site in the Überseequartier. The design for this striking white building was provided by Franz-Josef Nähring and his team from KBNK Architects. Completion is scheduled for the second quarter of 2024, with a total investment volume of around €100 million.

Shared Rooftop Terrace for Residents

The Lyte will offer 27 different apartment types ranging from 43 to 395 square meters across 13 residential floors, as well as 96 underground parking spaces, 27 of which will be equipped with electric vehicle charging stations. The two luxurious penthouses on the twelfth floor will also feature private rooftop terraces. A special highlight of the 60-meter-tall residential building will be the highest private rooftop terrace in HafenCity, available for communal use by residents, including a shared outdoor kitchen.

The lower three floors of the building will house the department store Breuninger. Residential apartments will start from the third floor upwards. The project aims to achieve BREEAM certification with an "Excellent" rating.
