A six-legged concrete block in the port of Münster, popularly known as the elephant is a city landmark. The concrete structure was used in earlier times for loading trucks with sand and gravel by the harbor crane delivered by cargo ships. By integrating the existing elements into the new container architecture, the elephant evolves - transforms - and becomes Elephanton.
PASCH is responsible for the concept and design of the temporary showroom container facility. The aim is to involve the public in the construction project of the company FIEGE Logistik. The facility includes presentation spaces in the digital showroom, and a private meeting container overlooking the harbor waterfront. Integrating a public café with terrace areas and a large LED cinema will create additional value for local residents and increase the quality of stay at the port of Münster.
