DEAL Magazin - DC Developments crowns Eleven Decks

On September 15, 2022, the residential project Eleven Decks reached its next major milestone. As the first of the three residential buildings in the Westfield Hamburg-Überseequartier, this project by developer DC Developments celebrated its topping-out ceremony. Spanning over eleven floors, the 21,000 square meters of living space in Eleven Decks will accommodate 306 residential units, including 224 one- and two-bedroom apartments, as well as 18 penthouses with their own green roof terraces.

Along with the landscaped inner courtyard, approximately 3,500 square meters of green space will be created in the heart of HafenCity. Completion is scheduled for early 2024. Before the topping-out crown was raised to cheers from the 200 guests and media representatives present, Lothar Schubert, Managing Partner of DC Developments, highlighted the outstanding work of everyone involved on site: "Together with you, we are creating a place that enables encounters between all generations. A place where one can live in the vibrant city of Hamburg and where life in a green environment will play a significant role. You are creating with us a special piece of the city that combines international metropolitan flair with a green setting and views of the harbor and urban life."

The modern project by architect Carsten Roth sets new standards for residential concepts, particularly with its community spaces. These spaces will offer future residents co-working areas, a fitness and yoga room, a clubbing area with an open kitchen, a lounge, and a gaming room. "With this exclusive sharing concept, they provide an extension of the individual apartments for their residents," emphasizes Schubert. The overall concept will be complemented by three interior lines from the designer duo PASCH Design, which will also design the community spaces and the entrance area of Eleven Decks, giving the building an exclusive hotel charm.

Following the completion of the shell construction, the interior fit-out will begin, and the current 60 workers on-site will increase to more than 500 people who will advance the project to the next construction phase.
